Special Need Kitties

(George) Pumpkin was a very sick kitty in December 2007. Tests determined that C(hronic) R(enial) F(ailure) was the cause. CRF found in younger cats does not mean it is a death sentence like it sometimes becomes in older felines. Pumpkin with the correct diet and monitoring can live a long time. He is on a special diet with urinary tract food and will have to have periodic tests at the Vet to see that he continues to thrive.

Meet (George) Pumpkin

Gabby is a sweet kitty that has been having seizures. The seizures have been becoming more frequent. Tests have been made and have found them to be the mild stage epileptic. The Vet has decided to wait to put him on meds since once on he can't be removed from them. Kerry is keeping a diary and a close eye on Gabby at her Vet's request. Gabby is still on predizone. We will keep Gabby's status updated as more information comes in.
